I like making designs with Mireya.

All the way from New York City we interviewed Mireya! She told me that in the beginning she did not want to go to Art Center Of Design. She wanted to be a lawyer. Then she changed her mind and wanted to be a Graphic Designer. However to be a Graphic Designer she had to have a Bachelors degree and Fine Arts degree. After that she started a business and has had it for more than 5 years. Obviously she had to work hard to get her job on its feet. There are two parts of her job business and art. Something she said is everyone will be intrested in many of things in their life. 

I have my I's on Chris

              A while back we interviewed Chris. He went to University of California Berkeley. His major was in computer programming. His career was computer science. Codes are what you need to program. He said the codes are just like another language. Math can really help you learn the codes because most of it is based off of mathematics. He is intreseted in education because some of his family was involved in it also. So he made an app called Educreations. He said he gets feedback from users on how to make it better. 

Jackie the Journalist

Jackie went to college at University of South Carolina. Some advice she gave us is when you are in collage get a mentor and hold on to them. She also said if you put the wrong info on the Internet you can get sued. She likes working with collage kids because they are fun and interesting. They are fun because learning about themselves and the world. Some advice Jackie gave us was that your first idea is not your best.

I have my i's on Samantha

This week we interviewed Smantha. Smantha was good at math and science that is why she wanted to become a pharmacist. Samantha works as a pharmacist at St. Mary's hospital in Decatur Illinois. Her first part of the day is making sure the meds are right. All meds is her responsibly, and she works with other pharmacists at the hospital. She has to double check her work so then she does not make a mistake. There are two types of pharmacists. A retail pharmacist and a hospital pharmacist. She works on the evenings at the hospital. Before she worked at the hospital she worked  retail at Target. She misses talking to her patients at Target.
